What? No Tenor? Saxophone Trio

Sara and Ian play in a saxophone trio consisting of soprano, alto and baritone saxophones. They play light jazz, popular song and classical pieces. Perfect for background music at weddings and other functions. Loud enough not to require amplification in outdoor settings.

Ian Morrison Music

Ian is available as a dep saxophonist: he has considerable experience of playing in ska, function, disco, rock, rock n roll, big band and soul bands. He is a good reader and strong improviser and owns a wireless microphone and IEMs. He regularly performs on baritone, tenor and alto saxophone and can also play soprano and sopranino saxophones.

Ian is also available as a jazz pianist in a small group setting.

Ian can also put together an ad hoc jazz band either as a pianist or a saxophonist.

Sara Morrison Instrumental Tuition

Sara is an experienced saxophone and clarinet teacher. Taking beginners all the way through to grade 8, if they so wish.

Sara adapts her teaching methods according to the student's preferences.

As part of her teaching Sara also runs some small ensembles, mostly composed of her students. Clare House Clarinets is a clarinet choir which could accommodate more players of around grade 5 standard.

The CBreezes Wind Ensemble

Sara and Ian run the CBreezes Wind Ensemble which is mostly a rehearsal only group of saxophone and clarinet players of around 20 players. Catering for adults in the range grade 4-7.
They occasionally perform at community events.

Ian Morrison Composer and Arranger

Ian is a published composer and arranger of sheet music (Warwick Music Ltd); it is primarily educational music for solos, duets, trios of wind and brass instruments. He has had a composition featured on the ABRSM Saxophone Grade 1 syllabus!

Whilst most people are unlikely to require arranging or composition services you never know!

Ian has 36 sheet music publications available for download on warwickmusic.com.
