The CBreezes

The CBreezes is a Wind Ensemble composed of Clarinets and Saxophones run by Sara and Ian Morrison. 

We:

• are essentially a rehearsal only group which performs for family and friends a couple of times a year. Occasionally it has performed at community events

• have rehearsals are fortnightly on Wednesdays evenings at 8pm in Eddington, Cambridge

• are organised, musically, as:

  1. Clarinet 1 and 2: Clarinet 1 is higher and harder than Clarinet 2 generally. 3-4 players on each part. The "normal" Bb clarinet is the only clarinet we have.

  2. Soprano Saxophone: Up to 3 players.

  3. Alto Saxophone 1 and Alto Saxophone 2: Two parts of equal difficult and importance. Up to 3 players on each part.

  4. Tenor Saxophone: Up to 4 players.

  5. Baritone: One player

• have a private website with practice tracks for personal practice

• focus on about 7 pieces per term

• have a termly fee to cover hall hire and conducting and arranging time
